Residents participate in medical simulations drills weekly. The simulation curriculum is accomplished after the Wednesday lecture/conference training. Womack Army Medical Center has a state of the art Simulations Center, where ob/gyn residents are able to practice obstetric emergencies, laparoscopic skills, and patient communication skills.
Membership in ACOG is sponsored by the department at no cost to the resident.
