Comment’s CDR’s BLOG  for April 27

Womack Army Medical Center is making some changes soon that will affect how we deliver primary care to our beneficiaries.  Womack Army Medical Center will offer evening hours for our patients who receive their primary care at the clinics on post.  Our Acute Minor Illness Clinic (AMIC) will close on 2 June, 2012. Beginning 4 June, 2012, our primary care clinics hours of operation will be extended until 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  On Fridays, the clinics will operate under normal operating hours.  These include:  Clark Health Clinic, Joel Health and Dental Clinic, Pope Health Clinic, Robinson Health Clinic and Womack Family Medicine Residency Clinic.  This will allow each patient to maintain a relationship with their Primary Care Manager and Primary Care Team. This change will offer better continuity of care for our patients.  Patients will be seen in their own primary care clinics by their team of providers.  Appointments will be made by calling 910-907-2778.

We solicit your input and suggestions during this transition. We value your feedback and know the best suggestions come from those who receive their primary care from our clinics. Please take the time to add a comment or suggestion to my BLOG for those issues of concern to you.

The Fayetteville and Hope Mills Medical Homes will continue to operate on their normal operating hours.
