Title

Influenza Season - Press Release #18-013

Body

January 24, 2018
Press release #18-013

FORT BRAGG, N.C. –During influenza season, Womack Army Medical Center is promoting increased awareness of the risks associated with the spread of illnesses. For the safety of your family and the patients at Womack Army Medical Center, our families are encouraged to seek childcare for our young visitors age 12 and under unless the appointment is for them. These precautions will decrease exposure to these illnesses, and will remain in effect throughout the flu season.

“Our priority is to keep patients and staff healthy during this increase in flu cases in North Carolina,” said Maj. (Dr.) Aaron Farmer, Chief, Infectious Disease at Womack Army Medical Center.
