Mission:
The mission of the Pediatric Unit is to provide for the medical, psychosocial, and developmental needs of all children and their families in a safe and nurturing environment. 4N Pediatrics provides family-centered care which invites parent participation and decision making in the care of their children.

Overview:
The Pediatric Unit employs a multidisciplinary staff specifically trained in the medical, emotional and developmental needs of children. The Pediatric Unit provides specialized equipment in a range of sizes and special technology and monitoring systems designed specifically for children.  Our Pediatric Unit boasts many amenities important in maintaining family dynamics.  This includes a playroom and each patient’s room features a fold-out chair for parents and a rocking chair, as well as Internet capabilities, a flat-screen TV and DVD player.
 
Policies:
Visitors are screened upon arrival to 4N for cold/flu-like symptoms during high flu season.            Recognized as a National Certified Gold Safe Sleep Champion, 4N adheres to Safe Sleep Practices as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Scope of Service:
We provide premium care for children with diagnosis such as Asthma, Diabetes, jaundice and many other childhood diseases and illnesses.  As well as care for pediatric patients under Orthopedics, General Surgery and ENT services.  We currently have 7 Pediatricians on staff, to include a Pediatric Cardiologist, a Pediatric Endocrinologist, a Pediatric Gastroenterologist and an Adolescent Specialist.  Our nursing staff is comprised of LPNs, and RNs,  3 of whom are Certified Pediatric Nurses.
